Notification preferences

ScentSell sends notifications through two channels — push (browser or app) and email — across multiple categories. You can control exactly which notifications you receive and through which channel.

Accessing notification settings

Go to Settings → Notifications, or navigate directly to /settings/notifications.

Notification channels

EmailSent to your registered email address via ScentSell's branded email system.

You can enable or disable each channel independently per notification category.

Enabling push notifications

Push notifications require browser permission:

  1. Go to Settings → Notifications
  2. Click Enable push notifications
  3. When your browser asks "Allow ScentSell to send notifications?" — click Allow

If you previously declined and want to re-enable, you need to reset notification permissions in your browser settings (the URL bar lock icon → Notifications → Allow).

Unsubscribing from email

You can unsubscribe from any email category at Settings → Notifications. You can also click the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of any ScentSell email.

Transactional emails (order confirmations, payment receipts, shipping notifications) cannot be disabled as they are required for your account to function correctly.

Brand alerts specifically

To manage your brand alert subscriptions, scroll to the Brand alerts section in notification settings. You can see all brands you've subscribed to and remove individual alerts. See also: Brand alerts guide.
