ScentSell is committed to protecting your privacy. This page summarises how we collect and use your information.

What we collect​

  • Account information: Email, display name, profile photo
  • Identity verification: Handled by Stripe — ScentSell does not store financial or identity documents
  • Transaction data: Order history, listings, offers, and messages
  • Collection data: Fragrances, wear logs, and stats you create in My Collection
  • Usage data: App interactions, pages visited, features used (for improving the product)

How we use it​

  • To run the marketplace (matching buyers and sellers)
  • To process payments (via Stripe)
  • To send transactional notifications (order updates, etc.)
  • To power AI features (collection and wear data is sent to MCP server when you use AI tools — see OAuth & privacy)
  • To improve the product

Who we share it with​

  • Stripe — Payment processing and identity verification
  • Resend — Transactional email delivery
  • OneSignal — Push notification delivery
  • 17track — Delivery tracking (tracking numbers only)
  • OpenAI — AI vision feature for photo-add (photos are processed but not stored by OpenAI)

We do not sell your personal information.

Your rights​

Under Australian Privacy Act obligations, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your information
