Voice logging wears

Voice logging is one of the most popular Premium features. Instead of opening the app to log a wear, you just describe it to your AI assistant.

How it works​

  1. Your AI client (Claude Desktop, ChatGPT, etc.) is connected to ScentSell via MCP.
  2. You describe your wear in natural language.
  3. The AI interprets your description and calls the log_wear MCP tool.
  4. ScentSell logs the wear, decrements your remaining ml, and confirms back to your AI.

The whole exchange takes a few seconds.

Example commands​

Basic logging:

"I'm wearing Creed Aventus today"

With details:

"Aventus for work today, 4 sprays, it's a hot sunny day"

With a rating:

"Wore Baccarat Rouge 540 last night for dinner, 3 sprays, 9/10 — incredible performance"

Backdating:

"Log a wear for yesterday — Tom Ford Oud Wood, 5 sprays, casual occasion"

Adding a note:

"Add a note to today's Aventus wear: really impressive projection in the heat"

Occasion options​

When you mention occasion, the AI maps your words to these options: casual, work, date, gym, dinner, wedding, travel, blind test, other

Weather options​

sunny, rainy, humid, snowing, mild, cold, hot, windy

Mood options​

confident, relaxed, romantic, energetic, cosy, professional, adventurous, nostalgic

You don't need to use these exact words — the AI interprets natural language and maps accordingly.

What if the fragrance name is ambiguous?​

If you have multiple fragrances from the same house (e.g. several Creeds), the AI may ask for clarification:

AI: "You have Creed Aventus and Creed Green Irish Tweed. Which one would you like to log?"
