ScentSell Discovery Box

ScentSell’s own product. A selection of samples from Australian houses, in a dust bag, picked from a short quiz. $79 delivered. One number. Road freight only, Australian addresses only.

Sizes are not uniform. Every house decants differently, so the bag carries what each house sends rather than pretending it is one standard size. You are emailed a QR code with a description of every sample in your bag — what it is, who made it, what is in it.

This is not live money yet. The drawer is empty. Houses have not been asked to send vials, so the quiz cannot pack a box and will not invent juice. When a house does send stock, ScentSell packs the box after the AusPost dangerous-goods contract is in place. Full bottles from a house do not wait on that contract. The box does.

What is inside​

  • A selection of samples, sizes varying by house
  • A card for each house
  • A house-controlled full-bottle offer, if that house chooses to give one. The house sets the value, products and terms. There is no fixed percentage.

Two checkouts​

The box is from us. Full bottles ship from the house. They never share a trolley. If you try to mix them, checkout will refuse and ask you to pay for each separately.

Checkout for the box is first-party Stripe at /discovery-box/checkout. Nothing is charged while the sample drawer is empty — no house has joined, so there is no stock to pack. The thank-you page is not the order — payment is confirmed with Stripe first. There is no house Connect split on the $79.

The box belongs to the buyer’s account. If you take the quiz as a gift hint for a partner, that quiz does not show on their public share card.
