Tracking your order

Once a seller marks your order as shipped, you'll receive a tracking number and can monitor your parcel's progress.

What you'll learn

  • How to find your tracking number
  • How delivery detection works
  • What to do if tracking isn't updating

Finding your tracking information

  1. Go to My Orders in your account dashboard.
  2. Find the relevant order — it should show a status of Shipped.
  3. The tracking number and carrier will be displayed. Tap the tracking number to open the carrier's tracking page in a new tab.

You'll also receive an email with tracking details when the seller marks the order as shipped.

How delivery detection works

ScentSell uses 17track to automatically monitor your parcel's status. Our system checks for delivery updates every 6 hours. When 17track confirms delivery:

  • Your order status changes to Delivered
  • You receive a push notification and email: "Your fragrance has arrived"
  • A countdown begins for the confirmation window

Confirming receipt

After your parcel is marked as delivered, you can confirm receipt in your dashboard. Confirming receipt updates the order to Completed. See Confirming receipt for more.

If tracking isn't updating

Sometimes tracking data can be slow, especially for regional deliveries. Try these steps:

  1. Wait 24 hours — not all scans are immediate.
  2. Check the carrier's website directly using your tracking number.
  3. Check with your local post office — the parcel may be awaiting collection.
  4. If your order has been in Shipped status for more than 10 days without any tracking movement, contact the seller via the order messaging system, or raise a dispute.
tip

Australia Post tracking can be slower for standard parcels than express. If you haven't received your order within 14 days of shipment, raise a dispute.
