How decants ship

Decants from the Scent Sell Shop are packed and shipped by our team. Here's what to expect.

Packaging

Decant vials are:

  • Filled using clean, dedicated equipment (no cross-contamination)
  • Sealed and labelled with fragrance name, brand, size, and fill date
  • Wrapped in bubble wrap and shipped in rigid cardboard mailers

Liquids under 100ml are not prohibited by Australia Post or Shippit for domestic shipping.

Shipping timeframes

Shipping times depend on your location. Metropolitan areas are typically faster than regional addresses.

Tracking

You'll receive an email with your tracking number when your order is dispatched. Use it to track via Australia Post, Shippit, or the carrier shown on your label.

Damaged or incorrect orders

If your decant arrives damaged (broken vial, leaked) or you received the wrong fragrance:

  1. Take a photo immediately — before cleaning up, photograph the damage.
  2. Email shop@scentsell.com.au with your order number and the photo.

We'll send a replacement or issue a refund promptly. Glass vials can sometimes break in transit despite our packaging — we'll always make it right.
